Montessori - Math

In the Twos class, math isn’t explicitly taught. The math curriculum is based off of the children’s sensorial experience using concrete objects. Children learn through exploring with their hands, manipulating materials, and using their senses to take in information. The activities at this age teach sequencing, quantity, and recognition of numbers 1 through 10. This builds the foundation for their journey into the Primary class, where they will begin learning math processes.
