The Montessori Classroom
In our Montessori classrooms, we give children something concrete to hold so they can get the most understanding. When they are given real items, they can learn to associate it with what they see in their lives. The children feel important and proud to use real things instead of cartoon or plastic versions. They also take their work more seriously when they use real things – they love to be responsible!
