Hello, my name is Erica Daley. I am very excited to join Bay Montessori as a primary teacher in the Red Door. I have taught in early
childhood education for many years, and love working with children. Teaching young children has always been very rewarding for me and I
truly enjoy watching children grow and learn.

I am originally from California, where I ran my own childcare center, and received my certificate in Early Childhood Education from
Napa College, and attended the University of Maryland after moving to Maryland in 1999. I am currently in Montessori training at the
Montessori Institute for Teacher Education, in Wilmington, Delaware.

Apart from teaching, I am an artist and seamstress. I also enjoy hiking, and gardening, and spending time outdoors in general.
My husband and I go sailing and kayaking along with our five year old son in the many waterways that surround the Southern Maryland area.
My combined love of nature and art has always inspired me in the classroom and I enjoy doing many art and science based activities with children.
